At GetVitaCore, we value quality and reliability. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. That’s why with us the legal warranty always applies, and – where applicable – the manufacturer’s warranty of the brands we offer. Below you can read exactly how that works.
⚖️ Legal warranty (minimum 2 years)
- A legal warranty applies to all products: a product must do what you as a consumer can reasonably expect it to do.
- Within the first 6 months after purchase, we will in principle solve a defect for you ourselves, unless it is clear that it is due to misuse.
- After 6 months, the legal warranty still applies, but then you must prove that the defect is a manufacturing defect. In these cases, we often refer you to the manufacturer or importer (manufacturer’s warranty). Of course we will help you with this.
- Legal warranty does NOT mean that every product is automatically covered for 2 years, but that you can count on a fair lifespan under normal use.
🏭 Manufacturer’s warranty
- Many brands offer their own manufacturer’s warranty (e.g., 2, 3 or even 5 years) in addition to the legal warranty.
- Duration and terms vary by brand.
- The product description or supplied documentation will tell you if there is a manufacturer’s warranty.
- After the first 6 months, in many cases you can contact the manufacturer directly (often faster/easier for repair or replacement). We will help you with details or contact points as needed.
✅ What is covered under warranty?
- Products with a manufacturing defect or defect not caused by you.
- Defects that occur with normal, careful use.
- Items that are incomplete or incorrectly delivered.
🚫 What is not covered under warranty?
- Damage due to improper or injudicious use (falls, bumps, water damage, improper installation).
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries, cables, lights).
- Damage caused by your own modifications or attempts at repair.
- Consumables or hygiene products whose seal has been broken or which have been used (e.g. shavers, toothbrushes, creams).
- Opened cosmetics or perfumes.
- Food, drinks and supplements (perishable or opened products).
🧾 How do I report a defect or warranty claim?
- Check whether the problem is covered by the warranty.
- Email us at info@getvitacore.com with:
- your order number;
- a brief description of the problem;
- clear photos or videos of the defect.
- You will receive instructions from our customer service team within 48 hours.
🔧 Handling your warranty claim
- We strive to handle complaints or defect reports within 14 days.
- Depending on the situation, you will receive a repair, replacement product or refund.
- Any shipping costs for a warranty claim found to be justified will be borne by GetVitaCore.
